Ah...another golfer. When I was searching for my first Corvette last spring, I also had this as a priority. I found that one set of clubs will in fact fit in a convertible, but not two.
Since both my wife and I love to golf...I chose a coupe.
Good luck.

A 2011 GS, black on black. Best car I have ever owned. And, as an aside I should have been more clear...I can fit two golf bags as well as two carry-on type suitcases in the trunk easily. All this with the top in there too...I didn't think that the two golf bags and suitcases would go in the convertible.

Yes, but not the giant bag ones
My C7 convert holds my standard bag fine and it can hold another friend's standard bag fine, with the convertible top partition unsnapped and folded flat.
Important:
But mine are the standard set bags with a standard side pouch. It will not fit one of my friends large bags. I have no idea why he lugs that monster with a over-sized side pouch around as he never uses the space and only has one set of clubs and a couple extra special drivers (big ones). But it will not allow the lid to close.
But if you have a standard size bag and a standard set of clubs with maybe an extra putter or two and a couple extra drivers and maybe a high angle wedge it should fit fine.
But take your bag full of clubs to the dealer and have him or her put them in to test it. Or find a convert and ask them to let you test them. We are all car guys, so we would be fine with that test. If you are in Madison WI area, come and let me test it in mine.

Putting 2 sets of golf clubs in convertible with top down.
You can get two sets of clubs in a convertible with the top down if you put one set in 2 sunday bags. Put your irons in one bag, woods/long irons in the other one. Put your shoes in first, under the trunk partition or at the left end of the trunk. Then put the sunday bag with irons against/under the partition. Put the big bag in with heads to left over the shoes. Put the sunday bag with woods along partition with heads to right. It will be partially on top of the big bag.
