Default Michelin SS Tire Availability

Hey Tadge -

Do you have any insight that you could share with us regarding the apparently Michelin Super Sport tire shortage? Folks with new Z06s are having issues finding tires to fit their cars. Likewise, folks with C6 models such as the ZR1 and Z06 are also having difficulty since Michelin decided to stop producing the Pilot Sport 2 tires.

Thanks!

More of a Michelin question than a Tadge question.

Rumor is that the plant that produces many of the Michelin tires in the Vette sizes, is moving. Production is due to pick back up in about 4-5 weeks from now.

Well Maybe Tadge has connections to Michelin that we don't, and can, like with a couple of other questions, get a "guest answerer?"
