Stars are aligned for DOHC ZR-1?
Please, lets make this happen....how can GM not drop a Mercury Marine produced LS based engine in the new Mid Engine ZR-1. GM lets make this happen! This would be awesome!

"Ask Tadge" Producer
Hopefully by now everyone realizes why I won't even put this up for vote to send. Tadge can't talk about any sort of potential future product.

Same question that I asked in Paul's thread that was never answered;
What are we "missing" in today's product, that a 6.2L DOHC engine would provide?
In 1989, it was painfully obvious what was missing -power. Today? Not so much.

I think if they did some variation here, it's going to be smaller in displacement than that. I don't see GM going the V6 route necessarily, but I think a smaller displacement V8, multicammer is certainly possible. Short stroke/big bore 3.5-4 liter with some electric assist for torque fill...OHHHH yeah, I'll take it.

Oh lgaff... You diehard... Seriously though - anyone who hasn't driven a C4 ZR-1 needs to drive one just to hear that engine at full 7500+ RPM song. After the Callaway's paid off, I will have another.
