C&D Feb 2016 Mustang Beats Corvette
Tadge, Would love to hear your comments on this article in C&D

Melting Slicks
I won't speak for Tadge but I drove one of the first new Mustang GTs. And it's a fast car but the stick shift bucks when driving at ordinary speeds (like in 40 mph speed zone). The salesman didn't have an answer for it.
I can only imagine what a "Shelby Mustang" would be like to live with.
I just picked my C6. It's pretty civilized to drive until you hit the go pedal. Doesn't rattle like the old 'vettes either.

I read the article. It was written by fanboy sheep who like lemmings follow the crowd and fawn over the car of the minute. It made me sick and embarrassed for C&D. There is a reason people call them Car and Drivel.
the GT350 is a great car no doubt. I went and checked one out myself. I am quite certain that I would not be disappointed with owning one. But at the end of the day, additional dealer markup is killing the proposition of owning one. At MSRP, the cars are a good deal. At 10k-15k over they are a very bad deal.
Why would I go for a GT350 over a 1LZ Z06? I can buy a 1LZ Z06 for only a few grand more.
Based on the ACTUAL average selling price, Z06 vs GT350 is the comparison that should be made. Back to the article, I can't think of one thing that the GT350 actually does better than a Z51 Stingray. I have experienced both cars and neither are perfect by a long shot. They are both great but let's set aside the mindless fanboy mentality. If you're a numbers man, then the Z51 Stingray will easily win you over. The GT350 can't compete in any measurable way. If you're not into numbers, I still have a hard time believing that you would prefer the GT350 of your own volition. Don't be a lemming, skip the GT350.

Safety Car
Look at the entry "As tested price." The Stingray gets 5 points fewer even though we all know you can buy a Stingray cheaper. Therefore based on these 5 points alone the Stingray is the winner.
