Default [ASKED] 2017 Z06 Changes and Improvements

Hey Tadge -

Many of us saw the new 2017 Z06 on display at the Carlisle, PA show this past weekend and heard from various attending GM folks about the changes. Could you provide us with the full hardware details on the 2017 Z06 changes and the expected performance improvements?

Thanks!

I think many people would like a clear, concise list of changes and expected performance improvements for the 2017. Good question.

If they finally get this car right, then maybe those of us who have waited on the sidelines can finally jump in.

From the discussion that was presented on the forum it doesn't sound like there are any performance improvements. Car will be more heat resistant.

Sorry for the lack of clarity, I was considering being more heat resistant as a performance improvement (vs. things like color changes, aero side-skirts, or interior packages). When I said "list of changes and expected performance improvement" I was hoping we might get something along the lines of either a quantitative number (like the coolant degrees cooler number given for the GMPP radiator), or at least a "component X was changed to solve problem Y".

We've got "discussion" on the forum that trickled out the differences here and there based on statements from the engineers, but it would be great to have an all inclusive "one stop shop" straight from Tadge to confirm everything.
