Since becoming a regular visitor to Corvette Forum, one of the most common question has to do with motor oil questions as it relates to the Corvette. Some of the question to answer would be...how does GM determine the correct oil viscosity to recommend for the Corvette? What can happen if someone uses a full synthetic oil, but different that the recommended 5w-30? How did Mobil 1 become the recommended brand to use?
