Default Dry Sump Design Change

In your response to a previous thread on catch cans, you mentioned that no catch can is required for the C7 engines equipped with a dry sump lube system, because it has been designed to work with the PCV system, and separate the oil from the blowby. You call it a "cosmetic" issue and not a performance issue for the intake valve. I am good with that explanation. However, do all dry sumps for the C7 since the 2014 model year include that oil separation capability or has it been implemented at a certain model year subsequent? There is a lot of confusion on this and I have a 2016 Z51 and would like to know if I have the latest design with oil separation capability. Please advise.
