at worst it would be an extended warranty on the wheels from bending. Even that is very unlikely.

Default Wheel Discontinued Part Numbers

The part numbers for the Chrome GS wheels that are bending so bad had been tagged as "DISCONTINUED" on GM's Parts web site. Those Part numbers are 84073059 Front and 84073060 Rear. I wonder if they finally figured out that there is an issue with these wheels and maybe changing Vendors?

My next question is what about everyone who currently owns the pieces of crap? Will, we just have to suck it up or will GM make some kind of restitution? I have 2 sets and just purchased a new set of aftermarket wheels and they will be installed next Thursday

Who would know the answer to this?
I have 2 bent rims on the front and now a cracked back one. 2019 GS chrome rims.
The 2 on the front bent at 800 miles and have been in order for 10 weeks and still have not come in.
I now have 7200 miles on a 12 week old car with bent rims. I’ll need new rubber before long.🤦🏼*♀️

Well then it's time to push for/start a NHTSA case. This is also a safety issue, bent wheels can cause tire blowouts/loss of pressure, causing accidents/bodily injury.

No doubt this is a serious safety issue. Sadly, many times these types of issues come to the forefront and are addressed by the NHTSA after a trajedy has occured.

I was happy to leave this thread open to allow folks to discuss other aftermarket wheel options. But with it turning legal in focus, it's time to close it. We won't be discussing that sort of stuff here.
