I want to be clear: I found the European Spec 0W-40 available at Walmart. Can I put in my 2015 C7 safely?

No you can not (unless it's out of warranty). If your going to Walmart they only have the 5w30 and 15w50. I just gave up on this 0w40 ESP and bought two jugs of 15w50 from Walmart this weekend. Hopefully by winter the 0w40 ESP (not european) will be more readily available. Quite frustrating

My car is out of factory warranty but I have an extended warranty thru Carmax. I picked up the 0W-40 today at Walmart. I just want to make sure it's not bad for my engine.

I asked the same question to the Mobile 1 rep during the NCM Bash in April because I changed my oil using the E 0W-40. He said it wouldn’t harm the engine but on the next oil change put what is recommended in the engine.
