C7 ZR1: Brakes
The original question is here.
jvp asked:
There's been a lot of interesting information available online since your introduction of the new C7 ZR1. One intriguing bit that caught my attention is the new brakes for the ZR1. Could you explain how they differ from what's available on today's Z07-equipped car? Is the brake cooling also improved over the Z07-equipped car?

Engine Cavity and Wheel Cavity Air Management
The original question is here.
skank asked:
I've read and observed with great interest the air management advancements of the new ZR1. Could you explain the air flow paths through the new front fascia and how they are designed and engineered to move air through those internal locations. Knowing that you have already developed brake ducts to direct air to the brake discs, would directional(asymmetrical) fan style wheels help in the air flow path? I also noticed that the new ZR1 wheels are asymmetrical and therefore look different from driver side to passenger side. Would four location specific wheels be required to optimize the aero through the wheel cavity area or is it not worth the extra cost to the ZR1 budget?

C7 ZR1 Fuel System Specs
The original question is here.
FYREANT asked:
Now that the ZR1 details have been announced, we know that it will have a port injection fuel system on top of the DI fuel system for supplemental fueling needs. Many of us are curious as to the details and specs regarding the components of this new fuel system. I believe its been said that it will use the Z06 high pressure DI fuel pump as well as the Z06 DI injectors.
For the in-tank low pressure fuel delivery pump and lines, has this been improved to provided a higher flow rate and if so approximately how much more flow does it provide? Also, can any information be released about about the port-injection injector specifications?

C7 ZR1 vs ZO6 exhaust system
The original question is here.
salcolkat asked:
GM says the 2019 ZR1 is the loudest production car they have ever made. Can you explain the difference between the exhaust system on the Zr1 vs the ZO6 and the reason it is louder.
