Default C7 Body Panel Gap Issues, and will these be improved in the C8?

It's widely known that the C7 has body panel gap issues (ie. inconsistency in gaps, gaps too wide, etc.). I understand the challenges in this for an auto maker, but for a flagship car it seems unacceptable. Will the process be improved with the C8 to address this known quality issue?

What kills this thread is the "will this be improved for C8?" We won't be sending C8 stuff to Tadge until the car is officially announced. So: no.
