C8 StingRay / Start Stop feature

Last year the president of GM said that by the year 2020 every GM vehicle will have the Start Stop technology. Meaning the dread engine shuts off when you stop at a traffic light and start again as soon as you step on the throttle. I can’t imagine them doing that to the Corvette. I was wondering what your thoughts are on that, if you think the C8 will have that. I think it would be a big mistake. I can understand it in other vehicle applications but not this performance car.

The start stop feature, is what keeps me from buying my wife a new Chevrolet.
During Houston's heavy stop and go traffic, and lovely hot summers, it just doesn't make sense.

Most modern cars with start-stop feature keeps the AC compressor running via the battery.

Problem is that in the near future, every darn vehicle except the electrics will have it.

Both of our cars with it have a button that you can turn the feature off.
