block swap on an LT4
I recently purchased a 1996 LT4 corvette and I'm wondering if it is possible to use late model 350 sbc block to create a 383 c.i.d. using the top end off my engine. I can't seem to find much information on an LT4 or short blocks for sale. I've considered doing a complete engine swap to a crate 383 but I'm not sure what to do with the computer. Any help will be much appreciated

Why not stroke the LT4? Has a 4 bolt block and decent heads as is. Its a great plaform, the intake is pretty decent too can support plenty of power.
Get the pc tuned when youre done

The block is already a 4-bolt main block. Pull it out and have it done to the one you have. As far as the computer, it is setup for the architecture on a LT1/LT4.
