Sorry, no pics.........a computer dummy :conehead and NO dig. camera.........place V1 on rt/side of r/v mirror, high, but below "tint line".......must be able to "see" out of rear window because of the "rear" detector "antenna"..........if you have the "remote", place on flat area to rt of steering wheel on dash...........remote is worth the money........ :yesnod:
Good Luck, you'll Love the V1 :D to accent it, if you have Laser in your area, you can check out this site for Laser "Jamming".... http://www.lidatek.com
for the LaserEcho system.....

I saw one on here that used the extra space left below an aftermarket head unit to install the remote display. I don't know where he hid the actual detector. It was part of a very expensive sound system so they probably mounted the sensors at the bumpers.
I wonder if anyone here knows of sensor relocation kits for the V1 that may be on the market. I didn't see anything on the Valentine1 website.

Sorry no pics yet either, but high besides the rear view mirror with remote on dash is ok. I just got my V1 and haven´t tested it in real "combat" yet, but one thing worries me though: my detector gets quite hot. How about yours? Or is it just the magnesium case that acts different from the other plastic detectors i have had? (heat sink?)
I think there are no sensor relocation kits available and doing so by your self would require to dissassemble the whole unit. I guess it would not give much protection after that mod !

Something is confusing to me on Valentine One's web site. The remote unit mentions something to the effect of there being an issue with 1997 single wire power adapters. Are they referring to the unit itself or the car? My questions is, will this remote unit work in a 1997 C5 born in June 97? Their site isn't even accepting more email questions, a big mistake I think.

I have a V1 (its not properly installed yet, just plugged in and attached to the winshield) but it works great, I haven't been pulled over since I bought it (well, atleast not for speeding anyway.)
