Where to repair my '87 Bose stereo
I have been having problems with my bose stereo and I want to either fix it or replace it. I have tried relpacing with aftermarket, but it will be just to expensive to do, at least $700, which I do not have at this time, so I thought that having the stock stereo repaired will be cheaper and more reliable at this time. Having it repaired will run around $200.
Can you guys give me some feedback as to where is the best place to have this repaired, and if some of you have already done this, how much did you pay?
Thanks

I had the Bose in my '93 repaired by United Radio (http://www.unitedradio.com/auto_main.shtml) and they did a good job. I think they rebuilt the re eiver for $75 or something like that. Fast service too, I paid a bit extra for overnight shipping each way but had the repaired radio back in the car less than 48 hours after taking it out.
