Valentine one radar dector?
Can someone point me to where I can purchase a Valentine one radar dector at the best price. I was told that this the best radar dector out there. Is this correct? Thanks

I have one and think it's great.
You should also look into the Great Lakes mirror or visor mount and an Invisicord to hook it up to your rear view mirror. Those links follow:

I own one and they are well worth the money in my opinion all though for nearly as good performance and $100 less you can get the Escort.

Be very careful when buying v-1s on ebay. Some of them are stolen, with the serial reported to valentine one. If you ever would want it flashed with new programming, they would end up keeping it. Just an FYI.

I have a V1 in my C6. It's the ONLY radar detector that I will use. The arrows are priceless.

YOu can buy them cheap on ebay. Just make sure they are the latest version.
I have one that has never failed me. This is one of the best car toy's I own and has saved my butt SOOOO many times, even last minute instant on hits.
I've also had it pickup a wolfpack on several occations from over 2 miles away on the interstate.

Man, perfect timing on this thread. Just got back from Oregon road trip where I got popped on the infamous Hwy26 between Portland and the coast. F***'em, I've had enough, so it's V1, Blinder, and Veil for me.
And don't believe the Corvette is tough to get with LIDAR. That's what I thought until I saw a test on a 05 C6 Vert. They got a LIDAR lock at 1200 feet with no front plate!!! They got me with radar, but CA CHP has a hard-on for LIDAR, so I'm gonna take car of that real quick.
