Alpine MRD-501 Amp Issue

Alpine MRD-501 Amp Issue
I have an alpine iva-d300 receiver and an mrd-501 pushing a 12 inch sub. My sub stopped working the other day. I did notice when i go to the amp status screen on my receiver it shows ---A. I take this to be amperage. When I go to the expanded view it shows little to no current reading. The amp lights up fine and I can even change the setting via the head unit. Any ideas what could be causing this amperage error code(if it is indeed an amperage error code).
I have pulled the sub and the connections look ok. I checked the connections to and from the amp link. The power, ground and fuses at the amp look fine. And the amp turns off and on with the receiver.
