Pics 729 - 731 are of each 10w6 sub. #729 has a some wear on the foam around the 1'oclock mark. This was rubbing against a fabric grille when played. This is the only abnormal thing for a normally used woofer. All three are in good shape, ready to bump!

thanks

A friend just dropped off the console piece he picked up - but isn't going to use - that someone already had modified for the double din. It's pretty rough but will save me about 5 hours work.. It needs lots of sanding and some good bondo work but it's very workable. The Kenwood 7100 fits good in the DD hole.

The Stealth Box dopped in nicely. This is a vert so I think I'll mount the amps just behind the bulkhead. I will need to support the top when it's down so it doesn't rest on the amps. I'll probably make a simple carpeted cover that runs all the way across and covers the amps still leaving breathing room but hides them nicely.

Who here on this forum can make a box for the JL 12w7 to fit in the center compartment of a C5? That's the only thing holding me back from pulling the trigger.

I'm sure several can, but I was actually working on a design for one with BADMFR. So he is ready to do one.

JLAudio 8W1 8 ohm ************* NEW ********* $20 1 available

Question on the 8ohm (Ive not wired stuff in a while, I forgot most of this)...

I have a regular old 4ohm 2 channel amp in the wife's car bridged into a single JL 8W6. I'd like to replace it with something not as powerful since the sub is kind of being wasted in there. Would the 8ohm sub work? fine?

I forgot if it was safe to put a lower ohm load into a higher ohm speaker and if it will damage anything.

If this would work, I wouldn't mind taking this off your hands for you.

PM Sent with same info .
