Default 04 c5Z Spare circuit lower passenger fusebox location

Just an FYI.

As I prep for my DD NAV install, I was having a hard time locating the spare circuit the factory provided down in the front passenger fuse box area. I was just looking casually after work the last couple days for 1/2 hour each time.

I've seen folks say in upper left hand corner area.

Well, on mine 04 C5Z it was in the lower right hand corner, jammed behind the lower door trim (underneath the dash) and where the carpet intersects. Look for the 3 wire colors coming out behind the fuse box on the right side of it, and just follow them back and reach behind the door trim, and bingo!

Really? I was under the impression that '04s didn't have the accesories wires. Maybe there is hope!

Its there. I also found it in the schematic in the shop manual.

I bet everyone was looking in the top left corner instead of the lower right corner and assumed the 04's must not have one.

I believe it is #11 Fuse in the fuse box (sorry I am at work right now).

Can use this for new +12 V electrical sources for new NAV unit.

But believe I read its best to use a chassis ground rather than use this harness ground.
