Yup, just as I thought, you don't know nuttin. j/k. Well hey, this is good right? The new guy can get on and school us on what's what with our cars systems, I know I have alot to learn, thats not actually a joke.
I just saw that other post, PentaVolvo... that guy obviously had it in his head that it was going to be 'easy.' He already had his mind made up... and when you told him it wouldn't work, it just pissed him off.
He's upset at his own ignorance more than anything, but decided to take it out on you... don'tcha just LOVE people like that?
best part is his so friend who did this before registered to PM me how he put a c6 nav unit in a 02 grand am or something lol, if it was soo easy to do then why are u selling the unit for 150 dollars sounds like a failed attempt to me
Well thats nice. And here I have been paying special attention whenever you post under the apparently misguided beliefe that you seem to have the short sweet answer most of the time and from what Ive read, know audio (and C5 audio) cold.
The world abounds in all type and manner of idiots, give him a few years the guy who pm'ed ya might evolve into someone who realizes the breath an depth of the assistance available here if one closes mouth and opens ears.

Thanks a lot pentavolvo. Do you know how many of us are going to have to uninstall our navs, amps, speakers and subs?!?
Just because you've helped 100s of us with clear and concise instructions that get our systems up and running is no excuse.
Next time I need advice I'll seek out the first noob I see who worked on his uncles vette once.

The fact that you administer knowledgeable advice, based on years of experience, on nearly every post in this Forum is amazing all by itself.
To have someone who doesn't even appreciate this effort and then throws around accusations that are clearly misguided is just.....
WEAK
I learn something new nearly everyday day on this Forum, from you and several others (you know who are) and I've been an Audio Professional for 40+ years.
im not even claiming to know everything haha i learn from some of you guys as well, but lets be realistic im pretty sure i know what radio works in what car and what doesnt haha
I think i know this guy, here is some of his recent work
Dont laugh, my first car ( a Dodge Taxi, 275,000 miles on it, flat black inside and out (Earl Shibe) with an inline six with a one barrel) had one of those in it :-)
You could put $1 worth of gas in that thing (.50 c a gallon then) and drive all day ;-)
Of course, zero to sixty time was ....er....lemme see......about three minutes:-)
I can speak for PENTS knowledge from first hand experience, I have been asking him questions and sending him PMs nearly eight to ten times a day with questions about my stereo, and he has takin his own time to offer me help and advice to get exactly what I am looking for. Thanks again greg, looking forward to hearing back from you and getting this system install.
