Look what showed up today..!
Pretty excited to get started with the project! I still have to carpet the sub box and the wiring and PAC should be here on Monday. I'll probably start ripping the interior out this weekend..
A BIG "Thank You" to the following forum members for all of their help in choosing the system and answering all of my questions:
Pentavolvo: My "go-to" guy (along with everyone else on the forum)! I think he's sick of hearing from me!
Fasthotrod and NVTHIS for their help with the sub box...
Markcz & Kale for helping with general audio questions.
You've all been a great help. From headers to subs...this forum has got it covered!
I may update everyone after the install with the results if you're interested!
Best regards,
Rossi

Box looks nice! If you want to and have one, you can take a sander and sand the box to remove the excess glue and even the edges up. This will make laying the carpet much easier. Great job!!

Thanks, NV:
I have a d/a and I think I'll do that. I used Tite Bond glue and then a brad nailer to put it together . Most of the excess you see is caulking that was put onto the "tight" seams just in case...
Thanks again for your help. I've already test fit the box and it fits great.

Rossi

That's the box, Joker but I couldn't get the links to work. Here are the plans:
www.vettepilot.com/enclosure.doc
With Fasthotrod's help, I changed the dimensions to allow for a smaller volume. Height is 7". At this height, you won't fit a much bigger sub than a 10" and it wouldn't have fit if I had routered the opening / recessed the sub.
