I have a friend running them in a Scion XB, he's running them from 160hz all the way up without a tweeter. 24db/octave x-over slope. Sounds great. He mounted them on the dash facing up. I think you need to be on axis if you run them tweeter less.

I just installed a set in the upper door location of my C6.
The initial impression is- I like em.
