F/S Pioneer AVH-P4300dvd
So, I kinda ended up with 2 of these. So I am selling one. I bought and installed one in my tahoe with my own bypass. The unit would not allow me to use the AutoEQ function, but the bypass worked for on the move DVD playing. I assumed the unit was bad and bought another with the intent on returning the original for a refund. Put the new one in, and it does the same thing. SO.....long story short, it doesn't like my parking brake bypass for some reason. I'm going to try one of the ebay ones on the unit in my Tahoe.
The unit for sale is the 2nd one I ordered. It was used for literally 2 minutes. It is in PERFECT working order, and all of the harnesses and manuals have never been used. (I left the original harness intact and just plugged this one in to test it)
Here is a link to the Pioneer page:

Here is a the actual unit:
I am looking for $370.00 for it. Shipping will be on me.

did you use the CD-MC20 for the auto EQ?
Also for the bypass did you use a relay?
You cant bypass the 4300 like the z130 or 930?
you need to do it this way

just go to radioshack and get a 1.00 relay and wire it the same way as video and your good to go

I used a relay to send the ground signal to the PB wire. The relay is triggered by the HU's REM wire.

The units wont even allow me to enter the AutoEQ. I get the blue box that states "this function is not availible while the vehicle is in motion"...I found this odd, because it works fine for DVD playback.

I didnt know it did this with the autoeq
when you add the nav portion to the 4300 the bypass is useless as well as you get the same message

I would really love to get the autoeq to work though, the speaker placement in the tahoe makes the time allignment a bit screwy. Most won't notice, but I do.

It includes absolutely EVERYTHING including the original box. All of the wiring and paperwork is still wrapped up. I just took the HU and out plugged it into the pre-wired dash. You even get the Christina Agulara "stripped" CD that I forgot to take out before I unplugged it. (Don't laugh, its a very good CD to tune with.)
This HU was used for roughly 5 minutes....no lie.

Just wanted to say thanks. Showed up as planned (very quickly), and a quick out of the car test looks like everything works as it should.
Great guy to deal with everybody.

Just an FYI, I have the same unit and installed it with they relay and all. I could not get the AutoEQ to function. We had to place a switch on the ground bypass wire. With the switch "on" the HU sees the ground and lets you use the DVD player while driving. This is the normal bypass that everyone does. However, with this position the unit will not let you get to the menu to go to the AutoEQ. With the switch "off" the HU won't play a DVD but will let you get to the Auto EQ.
This drove me and the installer crazy until we realized that the HU wants to see the ground on or off and depending on how it sees it allows different functions.
I hope this helps anyone who has this unit. BTW, after using the autoeq I turned it off after a few hours. It works great while standing still but you have to adjust the eq when driving for driving sounds to make the most of the sound.
