Default Check our version of the Big 3!

Hi Everyone!
We have put together a Big 3 kit for you that is easy to install!
With all of the high-tech electronics that have been incorporated into your C5 Corvette, not to mention additional after market electronics and stereo systems, it can take a toll on the factory charging systems ability to keep up. Especially if, over time, connections have become corroded.
Installing a BIG 3 upgrade can be very beneficial as many on the Corvette forum will tell you. SacCityCorvette has developed a BIG 3 installation kit for the C5 Corvette. It is made from all high quality materials and designed so it will not look like an aftermarket universal kit. For safety it has a 100 amp heavy duty fuse, uses automotive grade 4 gauge wire, (not the type most car stereo shops use), the positive wire has a mesh sleeve over it for additional protection, all connections are hydraulically crimped and come with all the hardware needed to do the install. The installation takes about thirty minutes with simple hand tools. If you have doubt that this BIG 3 kit will make any difference in your charging system, please check out our test video below and see how the voltage increases when we connect it! Update: If you have an issue with your lights dimming when you turn on other power accessories, several people have reported that our Big 3 has fixed that.

Here is the link with all the info. http://www.saccitycorvette.com/Big-3.html

Sorry, I just don't see the need for this unless you're running a stereo setup with a true 1500 watt output. And even then, you're just using 4 gauge which is not much better than stock. I don't suggest anyone bother untill they've got a more serious setup than most owners on here use.

Hi snoopdan,
We use 4 gauge in conjunction with the existing factory 4 gauge. So you aren't just using 4 gauge as you say. Its double that! It wasn't designed for huge wattage stereo's. It is designed to improve the existing factory wiring. There are several of our Big 3 customers on this forum that will tell they saw a real improvement.
Thanks!
Christian

Our Vette just seemed like it ran better with the Big 3 installed.
Could be in our heads or could be the that the extra voltage
really helped. just saying!

The "Big 3" is something that is recommended for every C5 regardless of how it is used. Can see that looking at any of the basic posts about owning a C5.

I installed this one and it was very easy, no cutting, everything perfectly fit and had proper connectors. Looks good, high quality equipment. Worth the price to me because I didn't need to take all the time sourcing parts, cutting and adding connectors, measuring it all out. The kit is done in 20 minutes.

These Big 3 upgrades do make a difference. Just ask the owners that put them on their Vettes.
