Default Wiring questions on replacing a Bose with modern system on a 88

I’m posting these questions in the audio & Tech sections. What is the shield ( clear with wire braided) wire for in order to wire up the speakers on an 88 Boise radio?
I am removing the Bose and replacing it with a Multimedia single DIN unit. I have the 88 Corvette electric diagram book. Instead of running new speaker wires I intend to use the original speaker wires at the connection before the Bose speaker wires/Amp wires connector.

Tan + Grey = LH Door Speaker
Dk Green + Green = RH Door Speaker

DK Blue + Blue = RH Rear Speaker
Yellow + Brown = LH Rear Speaker

I am replacing Bose speakers with 2 - 4 inch/ 3 way speakers in the doors & 2 - 4x9 4 way speakers in the rear.

Is the Shield wire for a Bose connection?
Will there be an issue with the main Yellow wire that feeds the Theft Deterrent System?
Does the Grey/white wire plug that feeds into the Main Bose Radio, which then goes to the Heater/AC Control need to go to the dimmer wire on the new radio?
