Drill. Remove the panel under the driver's side dash and the car battery. Using a bolt, wire, etc. that goes from the inside to the engine compartment, try to find a location that is clear on both sides. Drill a pilot hole with an 1/8" drill bit to check. The drill one large enough for the power wire. Once it is completed, seal the firewall with some silicon.
I ran mine up the drivers side to the rear. I drilled a hole under the clutch and brake master cylinders on the drivers side too, but I used a larger gage wire and drilled a hole @ 3/8". Make sure you dont push hard and grab wires under the dash with your drill bit.
The 8 gage speaker wires I ran up the passenger side to the rear where they met in the middle.

I drilled up high on the firewall between the break and gas pedal. It came out below and to the left of the master cylinder/break booster. There is an open area there with nothing on it and no stock wires to worry about. I drilled with a step bit to 3/4". I used 4-guage wire wrapped in loom conduit then used silicone caulk all around the hole both inside the car and out.
