Component Speaker, crossover mounting location, question...???
Hello all again:
I have a question about the crossover for the component speakers. I know that it needs to be mounted as close as possible to the speaker but what distance from speaker is close? I have it mounted next to the speaker in the door, right above it and where the OEM speaker amp would be. Is this acceptable? Or is the vibration from opening and closing the door going to effect the circuitry in the crossover?

Some mount them behind the door panel on the inner door. I mounted mine under the dash in the kick panel region to allow for any heat buildup to be easily vented.
So fitting too.
