Just wondering if anyone knows if a Kenwood DDX will fit in a c4 w/o cutting the dash trim cover. I don't care about the back plate, it isn't visible.

Crutchfield could not tell me for sure.

Thanks

The biggest thing about the double din install is how far back it has to sit. If you cut the back plate, it should be OK.

I put a double din Pioneer in my 96 and because of the way the face opened to put CDs in I had to trim the opening. On units that don't open it may fit without any modifications.

Thanks for the input. I think the 371 and 671 are the same dimensions, so hopefully somebody is using one of these units and will know for sure.
