I have a new alpine head unit and got the Axxess XSVI-2004 aswell.

Well I followed the directions, made all the connections and now I got nothing. radio is dead doesnt even turn on. Fuse on HU is good. I mean i know i have to start metering my ign and battery power wires but maybe someone knows something about this adapter that I dont. Ill update if I get any farther. Next is calling crutchfield.

I found it. The 2 boxes have the same 8 pin connector so just had to swap them.

If you ever come up north to a car show or something, hit me up. I owe you at least two beers for posting this and then following up. I've been kicking myself trying to figure this out for hours doors opening and closing 30 seconds crap. I'm just an idiot and didn't think they would possibly make the connectors the same size for just this reason.
