Does anyone know if it's possible to get the C6 emblem that is on the startup screen on the factory NAV unit to come up on an aftermarket unit like a Kenwood 893S? Is it even possible to modify the startup screen?

I'm pretty certain you can do it. My pioneer nex makes it unbelievably easy compared to some of the other brands by including it in the display menu options and settings. With the Kenwood, I think you have to access a hidden installer or maintenance menu by pressing a certain combination of buttons or screen tap sequence. I have seen a few youtube videos showing the steps for certain kenwood models but not specifically for the 893s but one of them probably applies to your model also. Hopefully someone else can chime in with the exact procedure for you.
