Stereo started going out on occasion and recently just doesn't have any sound. Looks like all functions of the hu works. Phone blue tooth works one way, people can hear me but I cannot hear them.

When the stereo plays it's normal. May last an hour or a minute. I pulled the unit and checked all the wiring connection to no avail. Wasn't sure really how to check the PAC module or the factory amp.

I did put a new fuse in the head unit and it played right away for about a day then no sound. Put in another fuse to no avail.

Sound will still come on and go off. Radio and other inputs say they are playing whatever.

What's the next test?
