like new 10w6v3 in a qtc .707 alignment which was something like .91cuft. had this in my 4runner for awhile. will be cheaper to ship without the enclosure if you don't need it

looking for $300 in my pocket. sub has about 2 weeks of play time on it. i was able to buy quite a lot of JL gear barely over dealer cost and bought more than i really needed. dealer cost on this driver is $280 + 8 more for the JL grill. and i paid $349 for both; receipt included which could be helpful if you ever need to warranty it. sub has never been registered yet and includes the factory specific grill pictured

shipping would likely be around 50 with the enclosure or 28 without it

actual production date on the retail box is 11/3/16 this is quite a new driver in regards to age. excellent SQ sub. i have both this and a 12w6v3 and in a vehicle as large as my 4runner the 12w6 just has a bit more output and i don't plan on getting another corvette for awhile....actually a GTR would be next but that's besides the point

it is. all the new ones are only coming this way. they have to be ran at 2 ohms or 8ohms as the coils have to be in parallel or in series

Or, in my case using a power series RF two channel amp on my subs I would probably have to leave the amp in stereo so each channel sees 4 ohms. Bridged in mono that amp would maybe handle a 2 ohm load but it is not rated for it. It would be tempting to try. Regardless that's a helluva price on that sub!!!

depends on the amp. a 2ch amp that has a regulated power supply is better off running it at 8ohms but an unregulated one wants to go as low as the amp can handle for power. this sub took a 600/1v3 JL amp with no trouble.

in your case this is a perfect slip in for your SUV. recarpet to match the color and your set. the carpet job on this box isn't the best but the construction of the box is really really good. home depot 3/4" mdf made on a $2500 delta table saw that weighs as much as a small car

sub is cosmetically perfect and like i was saying, used for 2 weeks before i tried the 12w6v3 which i left in there. they are both extremely accurate SQ subs

outside dimensions on the box are 12" tall 15"deep and the slant side is 12" on the top and 17" on the bottom which is designed to fit behind the back seat in most SUVs and some cars. it just wedges in on the passenger side

date of purchase is 3/20/17 on the receipt. i can probably double box it either way but definitely will if you just want the driver. i still have the original box and the MDF insert so the driver would be in that along with another large box and packing. if you want the enclosure too you probably don't need to but i could if you insist, buyers choice. sub would be in the enclosure and have foam packing around it along with the grill strapped on. worst case the grill could be dented if a fed ex driver decided to kick the box

shipping is like i was saying above. 28 for the driver or 50 if you want the enclosure too. probably 55 if you want me to double box the enclosure as i would have to go to home depot and buy one of their giant boxes to go over the one i already have

carpet job on the box isn't terrible but it's not good. it was a temp job i used low strength glue on to hold until i figured out if i wanted to keep it and invest in better covering. you will likely want to recarpet if you plan on getting the enclosure. box construction however is really good. i made it on a 2500 dollar delta commercial table saw and used US made 3/4" mdf. sub is held in by stainless hex bolts and T nuts set in the wood
