If you give me the dimensions I can make you one. I have a small stereo shop out here in MD and have done a few custom boxes for C5's (my own) with a 12" kicker solobaric angled into the car, with smooth fiberglass glossed black. I'll get pictures for ya if your interested.

Can you build something like the Stealth box? The cool thing about that is that you don't lose any room in back if you want to use it. I'd be worried about wrecking the sub, if it was an exposed installation.

This is a picture of the unfinished box, but close to finished. i am going to wet sand it and gloss it black with a crossed flag emblem put on it, but it can be wet sanded and painted any color to match the exterior of the car or it can be carpeted. THis box is extremely strong with about 30 coats of resin on it, sealed first with screws and liquid nails, fits perfectly in the rear well and gets the most air space available.

Meathouse, I have a few things I would like to get installed in the vette. I live out in Glen Burnie, Md, and would like to come by your shop sometime to get some ideas for an install. Meathouse, given the response and interest(myself included), would you be interested in doing an impromptu type group buy on these. I would be more than willing to come up and help you "mass" produce a couple of them. Since you have the dimensions a couple of people wit direction of an expert(you) could probably build 10 of them in a couple hours other than the resin work!

Hey, I will be doing an install this weekend and will have the finished pics for you posted up this weekend. We are selling the boxes for 250$ for a single order and 225$ if you can get 10 orders for a GP. I will start taking orders at the beginning of next week. I will need a 100$ deposit (paypal, money order... anything except credit cards) with your order. I will also need to know what color carpet you want for the box or if you want it uncarpeted. We can also paint the box as an accent, but we will discuss that on an individual basis. You can get in touch with me by email or by calling my cell at 443-995-8597. I'll only be available on evenings during the week, but you can leave a voice mail.

Finally, the moment you have all been waiting for..... PICTURES!! Unfortunately the system is only 95% done there, still have to put the car back together and attach the wings to the amp that cover all the wires up from the back, but you can see the box nicely there. With this setup there is absolutely NO cutting of the under carpet (grey) no removing it, just drop the box in and your gold. Getting the Yellow Top tomorrow.
