Aside from the obvious of not putting your roof down, the owners manual shows that deck has a tilt feature, this can be used to reduce reflections/glare.
Monitor angle control
You can adjust the position of the monitor.
1 Touch [Angle] in the Display Menu screen. Angle setup screen appears.
2 Select a below number that represents your desired angle setting.
Default is “0”.
If its being totally washed out by the light, you could try adjusting the brightness/contrast of the screen it has separate adjustments for each source.
I am not familiar with the product but this company makes screen protectors for most screens including your radio.

Thanks for your post. I've tried the angle adjustment with no improvement.
The film sounds interesting. I've made a separate post to see if anyone here has used it.
