My door woofer blew and I'm going to replace it with another OEM one. Took it apart to take a look at it it's stuck in there pretty good even after the screws are removed, is there a way to remove it without damaging the gasket? If not does anyone know where I can get another gasket to put in with the new speaker?

also it looks like the 2012 and 2013 models used a different door speaker than the previous C6 models. Can someone confirm that please?

My recommendation is to get some speaker gasket tape and put it around the edge to make an air tight seal. Also, I think the Bose woofer is different from the base audio system woofer. I'm not sure if there was any other changes to the woofer based on model year.

Butyl tape is often used to seal speakers. I picked mine up at Advance Auto.
