I did a DD upgrade years ago, and then more or less stopped using my c5 for a few years (got a '67 ) never got around to the speakers or amp. I'm pretty decent with audio work, but want a short cut on picking the parts-- anyone have links or write-ups on builds they did? Or advice on what speakers/amps to use?

Also, are there any subs that fit flush in the rear large compartment?

I run a 12" SSA XCON in the center compartment of my c5.

it's set in a flush subthump box which had enough mounting depth clearance for this sub.

being flush, you'll probably want to get a grill for protection if you throw anything back there.
