Do they make those in 5 1/4 mids also? I suppose one could get by with a lower line of Morels for the rear if you had to.

Wow, the crossovers on the passive ones have an insane amount of electronic components in them. They remind me of the old KEF reference home speakers.

Needless to say, if the car got totaled or sold they would be coming out. The box might be handy.

i really have no idea. i have only heard the 6.5 and they deliver. i think they are a very low production speaker and should all come with passive crossovers. this set was likely a store demo or came out of the owners car which is why they have no crossovers. he probably sold them separately. it's also possible they were just ordered from morel like this.

these sound similar to the elate tonally. they are just more reference. this could be good and bad. the speakers are revealing of your source. the superemo has as close to perfect as you can get for measurements and a great sound to them. only one in the same league is the dynaudio esotar2

the supremo is hand made and from what i understand each driver is tested by one of the morel employees in isreal. they are proud of these things and the represent the best speakers they are capable of building
