Default Subthump stealth box for C5, or JL Stealthbox?

In my searches I haven't seen anything recent regarding the subthump C5 Stealth enclosure boxes, especially compared to the JL Stealth box.

It's just hard to justify the price difference - $680 for the JL box vs. about $140 for the subthump (granted the speaker is another $200 or so depending on what you get).

What are people's thoughts that have either one? (This is for a 2002 Z06 by the way).

I am going with a subthump myself. Still debating on the single or double subs.

I went subthump for my flush mount box as it had the deepest mounting depth of all the flush boxes. (8")

I did a subthump 10" center storage compartment box and I'm happy with it. I did this ages ago but I now see the side boxes by Vettenuts and those look pretty cool too.

Thanks. The box arrived yesterday but I'm not home till Friday, so I'll get it installed hopefully this weekend.

Looking at doing this exact setup. How was the box? What sub did you go with? I've been looking on market place and Craigslist for a sub/ amp as I doubt need anything crazy.

I’ll keep you posted - didn’t have time this wwwkekd so when I get back in town. I have a Kenwood 5 channel amp powering everything. I am looking at a JL sub.
