I want to replace my Bose door speakers in my 2012 Corvette with a 6x9 speakers can i do this? and what depth 6x9 speaker iam i limited to?

You should be able to use a 10" mounting plate to install the speakers in the door sub location. Your only issue may be the mounting depth, so that would be based on which speakers you choose. You can get the plates custom cut, or blank and cut them yourself. Best bet is to determine which speakers you want, then when you have them you can get the sizing required for the opening to have the plates custom cut for your speakers. I just bought a set of these for 6.5" component speakers, and they are of a very good build quality.

Shouldn't be a problem, but you will have to trim the adapter plate quite a bit. Curious why you want a 6x9 versus a good 6.5?
