Default Change Boot Up Screen on Kenwood DNX891HD

I have an older Kenwood dnx891hd that I’d like to change the boot up screen to something other than the Kenwood/Garmin display but can’t figure out how to do it. I’ve changed the background screen to a C5 logo I like, but beyond that I’m stymied. Also if it’s doable, I’d like to somehow clear the menu/settings display after I’ve made the channel selections etc. so all that’s showing is the background. Can anyone help or point me in the right direction? Thanks!

Wouldn't be wiser to ask on the radio makers forum?

Thanks for the suggestion, but Kenwoodforums.com is no longer supported and is inactive. I have posted on another generic car audio forum but no response. I’ve also sent my questions to Kenwood Support, but nothing back yet. Plus there are plenty of posts on this forum with similar questions, but with different model head units.

Your user's manual has a number in it to call Kenwood Customer Support. I called them two months ago concerning my DNX890HD. They were great and helped me with a couple of questions I had. Give them a call on Tuesday. Try 310-761-8802.

These videos were made with different models, but they worked with my DDX9904S.
