Walkie-Talkie that works?
Hi Folks, when we go on club rides we encourage everyone to have a walkie talkie radio so when part of the group gets stuck at a light or intersection the leader is aware of the situation.
I led my first ride yesterday and both my Motorola radios crapped out after less than 5 minutes. I’ve had them since 2012, so I know there’s no warranty coverage but they have never been good, so I may contact the company anyway.
Most importantly, are there any Walkie talkies that actually WORK? I’m concerned with battery life when in use and sound quality.
Thanks!!

Take a look at Midland MXT115 on Amazon. It is a 15 watt GMRS ( Walkie Talkie frequencies). It is hardwired (no Batteries), can use exterior speaker, Exterior antenna. They also offer a 40 watt but I felt it was to large for the space I wanted to mount it. We can talk and receive clearly out to 3 miles. If you what more info or pictures text me at 281-221-6850.
