Crimping dies wire strippers etc
I've never been good at crimping connectors. Watched a few youtube videos and apparently I've been doing it wrong. Holley's video was video informative but I have a few questions...
1. Non-insulated but connectors. Should I use seamed or un-seamed? Seems obvious but asking anyways.
2. How should seamed connectors be oriented in the die? I was orienting the 'seam' with the 'v'/stake but Holley guy says it should be opposite?
I have a Moroso ratcheting tool with a plug wire die and a HF tool with an AWG die.
3. Any other recommended dies for basic auto wiring?
4. Is there a good source for quality heavy duty type connectors?
Thanks-
