91 C4 stereo replacement

I just picked up a 1991 C4 that the previous owner said the original radio just died, no lights or sound. I am looking to replace the head unit or the whole system with an aftermarket setup which ever would be the best results. I hoping to get some ideas from what others have used in there cars? Can I put a touch screen in it? Let me know what your using and what you had to do to install it? Thanks alot, rustymetal

You can install any Double DIN system out there. Crutchfield's has a great lookup tool for car models/stereos.

I just added a Kenwood DMX906S head unit with Carplay in my C6.

Thanks alot for the advice! I called Crutchfield and they gave me a crazy cyber monday deal! saved like $200.00 I have bought from them before and I forgot what good people they are to deal with! Thanks again! rustymetal
