Default Replaced Bose on C6

After a lot of configuring and re-configuring, I finally have what sounds like a decent stereo in the convertible.
I already had a Kenwood DMX907S and had replaced the 4" in the doors with JL Audio C2-350X coaxials. Not ideal due to the low sensitivity of the C2s.

I left in the C2s and went with Stereo Integrity TM8s. These 8" mid-bass speakers are designed for doors and recommended to cross at 40hz and 3Khz 24 db/octave.
I did a bit of sound treatment and sealing to help them to play low.
I ended going with a Kicker Key 200.4 (50w x 4 @ 4ohms) to actively drive the TM8s and the JLs. The amp is VERY small and has built-in DPS capabilities setting the crossovers, time delay and equalization.
It fits just fine behind the passenger seat. Once I ran through the amp's setup and set the gains, I am surprised at how well everything sounds. Also, the TM8s are indeed playing down to 40hz keeping me from having to think of where to put a subwoofer.

Yet, problem. Although I deadened the inside of the door panel, I am getting a buzz at certain low frequencies with the door panels. I suspect I will have to take them back off and figure out how to treat them.

A few pics below. The wires are definitely done better with the amp. That was a quick pic before I was finished.

That Amazon basics Deadener seems to be hit or miss. Also, keep in mind what it does, it dampens vibrations and really, lowers the resonant frequency of it. Things like buzzes are best removed using closed cell foam sheets, these act as a decoupling agent between the two layers, and absorb those would be rattles and vibrations.get some soft but fairly thick closed cell foam sheets and layer them over the CLD you have on the inside of the door (not inside the speaker cavity), then put the door panel back on and I suspect that will resolve a lot of your issues.

I'm curious what you think of the TM8s. They're VERY highly regarded, and on my short list.
