On the C5 Gen 1 radio, which of the two USB ports is used for wired carplay? How do I switch from wireless to wired CarPlay? I love the radio but occasionally get interference and disconnects with wireless CarPlay.
Not having this radio myself, so I'm just guessing here, I would think to have wired CarPlay, you'd just plug the phone into the corresponding USN port mentioned above.

Sorry, just now seeing your post. If you haven't tried this already, go to settings for the CarLink app (when the unit first boots up and is trying to connect to the phone, on that screen you will see a gear symbol, select that), and change from "Auto" or 2.4G to 5G. The 2.4G frequency is very busy/noisy, and all my connection issues were resolved by forcing it to connect only via 5G. It worked for me, hopefully you as well!
