Default Easy to install CD Changer in new 2003?

I'm an audio newbie and a Vette newbie in general, so bear with me. I'm considering a new 2003 AE coupe. The cars in dealer stock that are willing to be close to my price do not have a CD changer. Question: is it easy to intall/add the stock Bose/GM changer changer if I purchase the car without one. Is the wiring harness already in place, with the wires already run to the rear compartment. Will I be able to install an after market CD changer with the Bose head unit or will I need to change entire setup. I will post this in the audio section as well.
