7998 Installed!
I just got the 7998 installed. it looks GREAT in the dash, and matches the lighting PERFECTLY. The screen is excellent. Very easy to install.
The clarity at high volumes is amazing...
The clarity overall is amazing.
My subs and speakers get MUCH MUCH louder while staying clean than before.
The Mp3 feature works great...
I can now honestly say I've never heard a better sounding system in a vehicle. I cant think of anything that would make my system sound better. This is the first time I've been 100% satisfied with a stereo.

I hope it doesnt get stolen.
I set the gains by ear at volume 22. 22 is the volume i can barely stand to listen to its so loud. It gets up to 29 before distorting. Thats frigging loud.
digital time delay... how did i live without it?
I could write all night the praises of this unit...
My purchasing experience with Tuan Le was excellent, as well.

My friend couldnt really tell much of a difference with it on.
even from the pass. side the imaging was far superior to his stock jbl stereo.
today im going to use that IASCA cd to tweak the time delay.

Doesn't matter, we have a street team group for people who just have arc in their car and like to cruise. Besides, you get a free sticker, t-shirt, etc for joining and pics on the Arc site :)

In the picture you posted it looks like the HU is mounted below the climate controls (rather than in the stock HU spot). What do you have up top? Do you have something else installed there, or did you leave the stock unit in place? I'm thinking of getting the same HU, and I'd like to know what you did. Post a wider view!
