MetalWulf,
I've posted in your threads before. The only thing I don't like is the screen negating back and forth to keep from burning up. I'm sending it to a guy I know at Kenwood over the winter to fix that ;)
Conquer,
I'm used to living off of remote control for years now, my home theater has been that way for ages.
Very Nice. Can you give some specs on the monitor? The custom trim work is top notch. Most of the time when the AC controls are moved to the ashtray, there is big gap from around the stock trim.
If it were me, I would have put the HU below the screen, and moved the AC controls where you have the HU under the glove box. I adjust the HU way more than the AC. Either way, some of the best work I've seen.
Incredible, simply fuc*ing incredible. How would you compare those screens to lets say a Kenwood, or a Savv, or a Xenarc? How are they price wise too? I'm about to start ordering everything for a screen, dvd player, and backing up camera. If you could give me some tips on fiberglassing that dash that would be great, and a list of tools needed.
The monitor is an Accele Vision 10.4" LCD Module. Retail is around $1000.
The headunit went into the glovebox because most everything is remote control. I have a PXA-h700 Alpine processor that sits in my lap that controls vol, eq, etc. It's going to find it's way to the center air duct this winter.
Meathouse, if you need anything else, feel free to call.
distracting and illegal :smash:
That is sweet, make sure you post pics when you get the new controls mounted.
My daughter saw this post and she wants the same set-up as you have.
I replied that when she inherits the car in 50+ years she can do as she pleases with it
