mind your own buisness<DUDE> go back out on the ranch and gather some eggs and milk some cows....this conversation is rated pg so carry on...your dismissed....<DUDE>
Dannydoo..."fabric layed over and razor cut and the pieces were pulled thru"...what the hell are you talking about? Do you have any idea how to build stuff out of fiberglass? The amp rack portion is fiberglass, the enclosure is carbon fiber. Of course I know it is, I built it. If caps were useless, why does every single amp have them inside of it? Have you ever been to an IASCA competition? Got the gel battery, got the 240 amp alternator...been there, done that. Post up some of the pics of your stuff.
I'm out of town in Georgia, be back on Tuesday and can post pics of the carbon fiber enclosure then.
verry nice...rice....you could have done a better job than just ploppin all that stuff down right?blewvettes stuff is proper..those two pictures show the difference between an installer and a salesman....why do you need 3 amps when you only have one subwoofer?what dont i see?im not a p/g fan for the $ they dont produce half as well as the compitition....although your setup compands some level of respect cause its in vette and i will say its nice to see different ideas...verry nice
Dude you're an idiot, I have not seen one thing you've posted so far that is even remotely close to truth.
You like my system (thanks) yet diss Randy's. His 2 PG amps cost well more than my 3 JBLs (only one amp for subs, the other two are for mids/tweets) The JL W7 is equal in price to my 3 Infinity subs. All in all, I like Randy and his ideas and workmanship. Both he and I have won numerious awards and been in magazines. If you want my respect, show me pics of your installs. I would really like to see them. I try and be a nice guy. As Steven Covey says "Seek first to understand, then to be understood"
I agree with you, you can use the Bose HU (with an adaptor) to run aftermarket amps. BUT, the decent adaptor is about $100 ( the cheaper ones will give you a hissing sound) and the money IMO is better spent on an aftermarket HU.
I'm also a believer in capicitors. Both of my compitition systems use Optima Batteries and a 15 Farad CAP. My next install will either have a 50 or 100 Farad cap since an aftermarket altenator to fit an Eagle Talon TsiAWD has been a bitch to find. I also run 0-guage wire in those systems.

Knew and Kale thanks for the compliments....Danny, Please reread my above posts, I never said stock head units would not work. I said it would be better to do an aftermarket head unit. Hopefully you will be able to get those pics up, I'd love to see them. If for some reason you can't get them up, e-mail them to me at soundsgr8@hotmail.com
