Why have their prices gone up so much?

I never thought I'd see the day when $200 is the mid-range price between the $15 Maistos and the $400 BBRs. I'm sure the AA's are nice but they're too rich for my blood.

Yeah, I know - I paid less than that for my first couple of 'real' cars!
(yes, I'm old...)

I just want to see a decent 1/18 C7 convertible - and not a $400 resin with no opening features...

Come on Maisto, you've already done a 1/64 and a 1/24 - I wouldn't think it would be that hard to upscale it!

Auto Art used to be around $100 new, I have a few, they are quality, but $200 each is too rich for me on a static diecast.

Personally, I think Auto Art's quality has gone down with their prices going up. I remember when they had more moving parts with the C5R models, etc.

I also want to know what colors the interiors will be as I hope they are all not black with only black wheels. Also, it doesn't look like the steering wheel is D-shaped either.

$200 for a diecast now?...nope, not going to happen here. I'll pick one up this year at Carlisle for $89.00.....there will be plenty of vendors there looking to sell out their stock before the end of the year.

You would think these diecasts were made in America for the prices they are charging now days. I will have to settle for the Sub $30 Maistos I guess.

Bump. Has anyone seen actual pictures of the Arctic White model? I'm hoping it has the Adrenaline Red interior and I hope they correct the steering wheel and have a D-shaped one in the actual production models.

I really hope they don't go black interior with black wheels on all the models.

Yep, Maistos are $17.99 plus tax here. Good enough for my garage art.

Given Auto Art's history, they should be released in the 3rd quarter of 2021.

Do you sell a C7 Corvette convertible in 1/24 scale?
